What is the Michigan Network for Grieving Children
The mission of the Michigan Network for Grieving Children is to raise awareness of the needs of children grieving a death and to assist Michigan communities in providing support for them.

A Message from Sue Snyder, Michigan's First Lady
“One in 20 children under the age of 18 will experience the death of a parent – over 100,000 in Michigan at any given time. It is devastating when children lose a parent, sibling or other loved one, and they need resources and support systems to give them hope and help them to heal. I care deeply about the children who are grieving in every Michigan community, and I am proud to serve as the spokesperson for the Michigan Network for Grieving Children.”
